Our Story
Every story has a beginning.
Every organization has a story.
This is mine.
The Taylor Effect didn't begin with a business plan or a logo.
It began with years of observing people.
Watching leaders succeed.
Watching others struggle.
Watching organizations invest heavily in systems while overlooking their greatest asset—their people.
Long before there was a company, there was a belief.
That belief eventually became The Taylor Effect.
But before there was The Taylor Effect...
There was simply a girl who was fascinated by communication and passionate about people.
Meet Candice

Hello. My name is Candice Manning, and I am passionate about people. In fact, I still operate under the rare belief that every organization's success is not solely dependent on technology, processes, or product; the true power lies within its people. It is the people who make organizations exceptional. Investing in people and developing teams offers a return on investment that is immeasurable.
My passion for people stems from my fascination with communication. I have always been naturally inclined to appreciate communication in every form—verbal, written, interpersonal, organizational, and everything in between. With this being the case, I decided to study communication in depth and earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Communication. While I initially wanted to work in broadcasting, life had other plans for me, and I landed in sales, which led to several management and leadership roles across multiple organizations.
Today, I bring nearly 25 years of sales experience and more than 20 years in leadership and multifamily. Throughout my career, I paid close attention to how organizations trained their people, communicated expectations, and built culture. I found myself asking the same question over and over: What separates good organizations from truly exceptional ones?
The answer was never a process.
It was always people.
That realization shaped not only my leadership philosophy, but ultimately my life's work.
Over the past several years, I have had the opportunity to create award-winning workforce development programs, develop future leaders, train thousands of professionals, and speak to audiences across the country. While I am incredibly proud of those accomplishments, they simply reinforce what I have believed all along: training has the power to change lives when it goes beyond teaching skills.
That belief became the foundation of The Taylor Effect.
I don't believe great training is measured by how much information people receive. I believe it's measured by what changes because of it. Every keynote, workshop, and training experience I create is intentionally designed to challenge perspectives, create mindset shifts, and inspire action. Because when people begin thinking differently, they communicate differently, lead differently, serve differently, and ultimately perform differently.
Whether I'm working with a multifamily organization, a leadership team, or professionals in another industry, my mission remains the same: to develop people in ways that create lasting impact long after the training ends.
At the end of the day, my purpose has never changed. I simply want to help people become the best version of themselves while helping organizations build cultures where their people—and their business—can thrive.
Today, The Taylor Effect is simply the continuation of a journey that began many years ago—with one belief: when we invest in people, the ripple extends far beyond what we can see.
Beyond The Stage
While speaking and training are a large part of what I do, the heart of my work has always extended far beyond the stage.
I have helped launch hundreds of careers, supported professionals as they stepped into new industries, and served as a career coach for individuals looking to pivot, grow, or rediscover what is possible for their future. That work has allowed me to see firsthand what happens when people are given the right tools, the right encouragement, and the right perspective.
I have also had the opportunity to design workforce programs, develop curriculum, build strategic partnerships, facilitate leadership conversations, and create learning experiences that connect people to opportunity.
For me, this work has never been just about delivering content.
It is about helping people see themselves differently.
It is about helping organizations see their people differently.
And it is about creating the kind of impact that continues long after the workshop, conversation, or program ends.
Because when one person gains confidence, a ripple begins.
When one leader shifts their perspective, a team feels it.
When one organization chooses to invest in people, the culture changes.
That is the work.
That is the ripple.
That is The Taylor Effect.
Let's Create Your Ripple
Every meaningful change starts somewhere.
Sometimes it's one conversation.
Sometimes it's one leader.
Sometimes it's one new perspective.
Let's create the ripple that transforms your people—and your organization.
